Forward Deployed Engineer

Fortanix is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud-native technologies, strong programming skills, and a passion for solving complex problems. You will work closely with our customers to deploy and optimize our solutions in their environments, ensuring they achieve maximum value from our products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
• Deploy and configure Fortanix products in customer environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to deployment and operation of Fortanix solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices to customers on the use of Fortanix products.
• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to provide feedback on customer requirements and product improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
